If you're ready to unwind, recharge, and breathe in the mountain air, Scenic Ridge Cabin is the perfect place for your Blue Ridge escape. Designed for both adventure and relaxation, this cabin offers sweeping long-range mountain views from every porch — the kind you'll never want to leave.
Tucked away on a private 2-acre wooded lot, Scenic Ridge offers seclusion without sacrificing convenience. Located in the Aska Adventure Area, you're only a short drive from tubing, rafting, fishing, clay shooting, and hiking — and just 8 scenic minutes from the shops and restaurants in downtown Blue Ridge.

Whether you're cozying up by the fire pit, soaking in the hot tub, enjoying movie night on one of the five TVs, or getting competitive in the game room (with air hockey, arcade games, poker, and board games), there's something here for everyone.

So come sit a while — on the porch, with a view you'll never forget.

THE KITCHEN

At meal times you will have a fully stocked kitchen at your disposal with everything you will need to fix the perfect meal.

DINING

The dining table seats 8 people. It was recently custom made at Jerry’s Mountain Furniture off Aska Rd. There’s also a dining table on the back porch and a picnic table at the top of the mountain trail.

HOT TUB

-Set the temp when you arrive to give ample time for it to adjust and please make sure the lid is closed when not in use to keep leaves and debris from getting in and to allow the temperature to hold. There are holders on the side so that you can slide the lid off and on with assistance. It is not light; please make sure someone assists from each side.
-There are beach towels provided for the hot tub and plenty of hooks both inside and out.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
There are 3 Bedrooms in the cabin
-King Size Bed on the lower level
-King Size Bed on the second floor
-Queen sized bed on the main level
-Queen pull-out couch on the lower level

Each bedroom has a TV with a Roku attached for you to bring your own login and password to access streaming services
Each bedroom has USB and USB-C chargers for your devices
Each bedroom has a dresser for clothes storage during your stay
Each bedroom has a ceiling fan

Guest access

Guests will have access to all rooms except the owners closet
Please to do not trespass on anyone else's property.

Additional notes

FALL SEASON AND LADYBUGS - It is very common in Mountain areas to see ladybugs around the cabin inside and outside during the fall season. They congregate together in the fall to hibernate. They are attracted to the heat that the homes reflect. We have regular bug treatment and this is not an infestation. The best way to deal with them is by using provided handheld vacuum to clean them up.

CRITTERS AND BUGS - Guests can possibly, occasionally, expect to see critters (bugs, squirrels, deer, opossum, bears, etc.) in or around the cabin since this is a mountain woodland area. We do however have the cabin on a regular pest control schedule to help minimize the possibility of such critters/bugs coming into the cabin. To help prevent nasty bear incidents, please do the following:

■ Lock your car doors
■ Roll up all car windows
■ Don’t leave food in your car
■ Put your trash in the provided bear-proof trash receptacles
■ Ensure the cabin doors are securely shut and locked prior to leaving

House Rules

*IMPORTANT INFO, PLEASE READ*

NO PARTIES - There are no parties or events allowed at the cabin.

NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITY - If we find any illegal activity at the cabin during your stay we will ask you to leave immediately with no refund and the authorities will be called to deal with the matter

NO FIREWORKS - Fannin County does not allow firework at short term rentals

PETS - Dogs are allowed up to 50 lbs at a fee of $100 per dog with a max of 2. Must be housebroken and are not allowed on furniture

WIFI - Scenic Ridge Cabin is equipped with the fastest internet that is available at this time in the area. It is 15 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up currently.

DISH NETWORK - The living room TV has Dish Network directly and the other Roku TVs have Dish with dedicated Dish wifi so it does not use the internet to watch TV.

SECURITY CAMERA - There are security cameras in place for your protection on the front and back porch facing outward. If you touch or tamper with the cameras, you will be asked to leave the property immediately.

OCCUPANCY - Maximum 8 Persons. If you bring more people than accounted for on your reservation, you will be asked to leave without a refund. Exceeding the maximum permitted occupancy can result in many issues, including a fine by local authorities or HOA for not adhering to sprinklers/fire safety, deck weight limit, running out of well water, and overflowing the septic tank.

AGE - All guests must be 25+ with the exception of children with their parents.

YOUNG CHILDREN - Please be advised that this cabin does not have child safety equipment

UNCONTROLLABLE SITUATION - No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage.

CHECK-IN/OUT - The cabin has keyless entry and the code will be sent to you the day before your arrival and will be active throughout your stay and deactivated at check-out. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. While we try to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests, we cannot offer early check-ins or late departures. This is to allow our cleaning crew ample time to ensure your cabin is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay.
